Jilin Power Share Co., Ltd., (“Jilin Power”) Jilin province, PRC, was founded on April 28, 1993 and is headquartered in Changchun, PRC. Jilin Power is mainly engaged in the generation and distribution of thermal power and heat, developing, constructing and managing power plants, thermal energy power products, local mine (coal), communication projects, power transformer engineering and related industrial projects. Jilin Power mainly operates its businesses in Jilin, Gansu and Qinghai province, PRC.
Jilin Power examined an investment in a windpark project, founded by Romanian investors, which envisages to build a wind farm for 100 turbines, 2 MW each in Romania nearby the Moldavian border.
UMi 4.0 has conducted an extended legal due diligence on the wind park project and the potential participation of Jilin Power in the project, in any kind or form. Jilin Power was particularly interested in the legal risks associated with investments in Romania in general as well as in the legal risks related to the specific project.
