One Belt, One Road Stategy
The One Belt, One Road Initiative (OBOR), also referred to as the "Going Global Strategy", was initially proposed by the People’s Republic of China in 2013.
It addresses China's desire to take on a more significant and leading role in global economic affairs. and its need to import China's production capacity in areas of underproduction.
As a matter of fact, Chinese outbound investment has been growing substantially for eight consecutive years - and in Europe – Germany is the favorite country to invest in. We have been appointed as the official cooperation partner of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). Among others, the UMi 4.0 team has supported the NDRC in drafting a Service Guide on "Going Global" of China's Enterprise and "One Belt & One Road". The Service Guide introduces the present situation concerning policies, infrastructure, trade and capital of countries all the way along the Silk Road to Chinese investors.
